Easy Maintenance

Zeo is equipped with media-refresh handles, making removal of sediments easy without opening the Zeo unit. Simply pull and drop the handle when in operation and sediments will be ejected from the chamber by your skimmer through mechanical filtration. This means refreshed biological performance every time.

Upwards Flow

Water is pumped upwards to maintain constant movement of zeolith media. This helps avoid flow channels and ensures optimum surface area exposure from every piece of zeolith media.

Chemical/Biological Filtration "In-Synch"

Zeolith filtration media works by harmonizing the ammonia absorption properties and biological conversion into one seamless process. First ammonia is absorbed into the zeolith crystal structure. The absorbed ammonia becomes a food source for autotrophic bacteria and is converted to nitrate. Then Heterotrophic bacteria residing deep in the zeolith medias pour structure converts nitrates into nitrogen gas, which is then dispersed into the atmosphere.

These products are constructed with performance tested cell cast acrylic, SCH-80 dark grey PVC, JG fittings and silicon O-rings. These materials will not color fade, are crack resistant, inert and non-corrosive, giving you the dependability you need and the performance your reef deserves.
